Friday is for Lists, 4/25

This week’s lists:

always in my fridge

I left this one black and white because I wasn’t sure if the labels or the objects themselves would still be readable once colored in.  Now, this is what’s in my fridge when I’ve actually been cooking on a regular basis; in fact a lot of this stuff would be in the door, so my fridge generally looks kind of Mother-Hubbardy.  I do use a lot of frozen veg.

Things That are Always in My Fridge:

Freezer: Sorbet, mystery leftovers, random dinners, fakey chicken, frozen strawberries, frozen peas, frozen tofu, pizzas, ice trays (usually half are empty).

First Shelf: Soy sauce or tamari, fun milk (like chocolate hazelnut milk), Whataburger ketchup (a Texas fast food chain with the most amazing ketchup ever – so much so that they sell it at grocery stores), minced jarred ginger and garlic, Earth Balance (vegan butter).

Second Shelf: Orange juice, more mystery leftovers (generally moldy), tofu being squished in my Tofu XPress, Silk Very Vanilla, iced coffee concentrate.

odd things and projects

These two were quickies, hence the laziness in their illustration.

Odd Things I’m Good At

  • Hanging pictures
  • Drawing reasonably straight lines
  • Crossword puzzles
  • Flexibility
  • Altar Building
  • Illustrating lists

Current Creative Projects

  • Shadow World book 6
  • Isis shrine
  • another Star Goddess shrine
  • Lyrics art journal
  • Daisy Jane art journal
  • List art journal

The last three are, of course, ongoing long-term things.

blue things i love

I had a lot of fun with this one.  The butterfly is actually standing out from the page – I drew it separately and then glued it in.

Things I Love that are Blue

  • Jeans
  • Bluebonnets
  • The TARDIS
  • Light blue Papermate felt-tip marker
  • Peacock blue Prismacolor
  • My lapis earrings
  • Benedict Cumberbatch’s eyes

Yay, I remembered the eye freckle!

(Er, the technical term is heterochromia.)

sounds i love

Sounds I Love

  • Rain on the metal carport outside
  • my cats purring
  • the Apple “bonnnnnng” when my computer boots up (because that means it’s alive)
  • Lindsey Stirling’s violin
  • the narrator of my yoga nidra CD  (Katie Meehan)
  • Maroon 5
  • thunderbolts & lightning (very very frightning!)
  • A number of celebrity voices

Bet you’ve got Bohemian Rhapsody stuck in your head now. My work here is done.

  1. Self-love is a technique of change of our inner self. Everyone has the desire that the person or the thing he loves need to always be ideal. For that reason, if an individual will like himself then, no doubt, he will make all the efforts to transform and develop himself and be a much better individual.
